Bonefish Grill

We celebrated my husband's birthday at Bonefish Grill, and it was a dining experience worth sharing. We decided to go all out and try a variety of dishes, starting with two appetizers: the Crab-Topped Bang Fries and the Tempura Crunch Sashimi Tuna. The Crab-Topped Bang Fries was a delightful start, perfectly crispy with a generous topping of crab that added a rich, savory note. Although I'm not one to eat raw fish, my husband raved about the Tempura Crunch Sashimi Tuna, rating it a perfect 10/10 for its fresh, delicate flavor and satisfying crunch.

For our entrees, I opted for the BFG Burger. I was pleasantly surprised by how good it was, especially for a burger at a seafood-focused restaurant. The patty was juicy, the toppings fresh, and the bun just right. My husband chose the Filet Mignon with Shrimp, a surf-and-turf dish that he described as cooked to perfection, with tender meat and succulent shrimp that paired beautifully.

We upgraded our sides to the bacon mac and cheese and a seasonal special, the crispy cauliflower tossed in an Asian fusion glaze. The bacon mac and cheese, while decent, ranked lowest among the dishes we tried; it was flavorful but didn't quite stand out. On the other hand, the crispy cauliflower was a pleasant surprise. Despite the description promising a "kick" that I found a bit lacking, the glaze had a good flavor and the portion size was impressively generous for a side dish.

Even as someone who isn't a huge seafood fan, I found myself thoroughly enjoying the meal. Bonefish Grill managed to impress us with its diverse menu and quality dishes, making it a place I'd gladly return to and recommend to others. The combination of excellent food, attentive service, and a warm, inviting atmosphere made my husband's birthday dinner a memorable one.
