Iron Rooster

As a newcomer to the Baltimore area, I ventured out to explore Annapolis’ culinary offerings and stumbled upon Iron Rooster. Nestled in a beautiful, clean, and unique setting, this restaurant perfectly encapsulated the vibe of the area.
Upon perusing the menu, I opted for the Steak & Eggs and Fried Chicken Benny, both of which left a lasting impression. While the steak was a tad chewy, considering its price point, it delivered a good flavor profile. The real star, however, was the Fried Chicken Benny, albeit missing the famous biscuit due to a technical glitch. Despite this hiccup, replacing gravy instead of the traditional Benedict sauce elevated the dish to new heights, making it one of the best Benedicts I've ever tasted. Needless to say, I'm eagerly looking forward to returning to savor it with the biscuit component.
Not to be overshadowed, the French fries were a delightful accompaniment, perfectly crispy and seasoned just right. Additionally, The Iron Rooster's own coffee proved to be a smooth and flavorful blend, rounding off the meal on a high note.
Overall, my experience at Iron Rooster was a pleasant surprise, showcasing that even minor setbacks can't dull the shine of great food and a welcoming atmosphere. I can't wait to revisit it!
