Chevy’s Fresh Mex
For my entrée, I chose the pick 3 combo, which included a picadillo ground beef taco, an enchilada, and mini chimichangas. While all the items were edible, they didn’t quite hit the mark for me. The picadillo ground beef taco and enchilada both contained chopped onions and peppers, which I felt overwhelmed the dishes. The textures and flavors of these large vegetable pieces seemed out of place. Among the trio, the mini chimichangas were the most enjoyable. They were crispy and well-seasoned with the drizzle, standing out as the best item on my plate. Unfortunately, the black beans served on the side were quite slimy, which further diminished the overall experience.
While Chevy’s Fresh Mex has some strong points, particularly the chips and salsa, the main dishes left something to be desired. With numerous other options available at Arundel Mills, it’s unlikely I’ll be hurrying back, but I wouldn’t rule out stopping by again solely for their addictive chips and salsa.
